Borij village was visited for the purpose of arranging a first public meeting with the villagers with the help of Principal Mam, Borij Primary School. A survey was conducted to collect information like identification of locations having problems like water leakage, waste-major unclean area/Dumpsite, sewage line, street road, habits of disposing waste, street lights, approximate no of latrines/houses etc. Sashakt also arranged a first waste management awareness programme with the villagers in Borij; along with the leadership program which motivated the students about leadership qualities and to do their best in making the village plastic free and minimize environmental damage.

Tree plantation activities are being carried out in Schools and Communities. Participants are motivated through videos and motivational lectures. Sashakt conducts discussions on local flora and fauna and its relation to the lives of the locals. Efforts are made such that the community takes ownership of the trees planted in their neighbourhood. In some other locations Sashakt takes ownership of the trees and takes care of them for a year.
